Consider the humble grape.  Once ripened on the vine, it is sweet and juicy.  One of my favorite summer treats.  That same grape is plucked, then crushed so that it is empty of all its juice.  The liquid is completely squeeze out.  The liquid is then poured into a vessel and seemingly forgotten about.  While the grape ferments it feels like it is abandoned and forgotten.  The process seems to take forever.  However, once it reaches the fulfillment of time….it is transformed into sweet or savory full-bodied wine.  It can be costly and appreciated by collectors, aficionados and patrons alike.  This humble grape is now celebrated and treasured and savored by the partaker.  Does this sound like you?  Are you in the process of winemaking?  Have you been plucked?
